This is a very rare and desirable car as it has the larger 4.6L straight-6 engine and has a total production of only 1202 cars. The car just was released from a private car collection in California where it has spent most of its life. It is the right hand drive version with factory front suicide doors and factory sliding sunroof. This is a very original car right down to all its original tools, jack and manuals. It has what looks to be all original paint and original chrome. It is a very solid rust free car that has been very well kept. These were all hand built cars that were built to last and this Bentley is proof of that. The car mechanically is in perfect condition and runs like a top and could be driven anywhere. This is a nice original 1952 Bentley Mark IV that would make a great driver as it is or an excellent candidate for a light restoration. The black paint is believe it or not mostly all original and is fine for a driver. The finish has some crazing, chips and stains. To be beautiful it would need a beautiful new paint job. The body is solid as a rock and very straight. All the panel fit is excellent. The chrome and stainless is all original and again good for a driver but to be excellent it would need to be redone. The original leather interior is in very nice condition, finished in red. The seats shows age and have some seams split but have a lot of character. The steering wheel is very nice and crack free. All the woodgrain in the car is original and in very good condition. Everything in the car works great except for the radio which turns on but no sound comes out. Mechanically, this car is in excellent, top notch condition! This Bentley runs and drives with no issues at all! The original 4.6L straight-6 engine was fully serviced and purrs like a kitten. Under the hood is very clean looks all original. It even has its original flash light under the hood. The car fires right up and runs as it was new. Driving down the road there are no squeaks or rattles and that's wonderful coming from a 60 year old car. This car truly runs excellent and is really fun to drive! All and all, this 1952 Bentley Mark IV is one rare and highly desirable classic car! This is one cool classic Bentley that is a fun driver the way it sits. What a rare opportunity!
