This auction will be for a good 1997 Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible. This rear wheel drive Mustang sports car has a nice White exterior finish with a Beige leather interior. It comes very nicely equip with power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, tilt wheel steering, air conditioning, cruise control, a factory am/fm/cassette/cd player and rear window defrost. The drivetrain is Ford's SVT 4.6 liter Cobra engine with a manual five speed transmission and power four wheel ABS disc brakes. The V8 engine runs very well and the clutch and manual transmission shift nice too. The other mechanics of this Mustang are all also in great shape and this is to include the brakes, suspension and steering. This Cobra starts right up, idles smooth and the car drives out great. The Beige leather interior has a nice appearance. There is a full floor console, head rests on the seats, a full gauge display and dual SRS airbags. The leather is showing the normal cracks from Break-In but the leather is soft and not torn of split. The seats, floor carpet, dash panel and door panels are all in great shape and the interior is clean. The air conditioning is not working, but all the other electrical items, lights and gauges are working as they should. Overall the interior has a comfortable feel and has a nice clean appearance. The White exterior body also looks as clean as the interior. The paint has a nice shine and the body panels are all straight. There are a couple small parking lot style door dings, but you have to really look to see them. There is also a small bumper corner scuff, but again really not of any concern. There is no rust or damage and the Cobra is a real pretty vehicle to look at. It is missing a couple of the small "cobra" emblems on the wheels but no other trim or emblems are missing. The Beige convertible top is the original top and in good condition. There are a couple small frays on the stitching, but this is just because of the age. There are no rips, no patches and the top does not leak. The boot is not included with the car but the top is clean and goes up and down perfectly. With only 103,849 miles this 1997 Mustang Cobra Convertible is a good looking and very stylish vehicle to own. The SVT 4.6 liter V8 is responsive and the car really runs out nice. The interior and exterior cosmetics are good and the car only shows normal wear and use for a vehicle of its age. The tires are only fair but they still have tread and are fine to drive on. We would like to add some other details to the description of this Mustang. This Cobra is not an all stock vehicle. It has had some performance upgrades to it. You will see the MSD 8.8mm spark plug wires, a K+N air filter system, the battery has been moved to the trunk and the under hood insulation and trunk floor mat and spare are not included. There is also a nice custom exhaust. Overall nothing that can't be put back to stock if you wanted too or nothing you would need to change to drive it everyday. This Mustang is a nice performer and a unique vehicle to own. FEDELE AUTO SALES 1-6 SCALE CONDITION RATING 1: As new condition. Probably has the normal cosmetic wear, but is in very nice clean condition. 3: Does have more noticeable cosmetic flaws, but still has a nice appearance and is a mechanically sound vehicle. 4: May have more than the normal amount of cosmetic flaws and/or need mechanical work, but still is a decent vehicle. 5: Vehicle needs work and/or cosmetics. May run and drive, but has problems. 6: Non operating vehicle. Probably best used for parts. + : Indicates a stronger numerical rating. - : Indicates a lesser numerical rating. This is to be done with one of the following methods: Bank to Bank wire transfer, Credit Card, Paypal, Bank Check or Money Order. Credit Card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee. We will not accept Paypal transfers over $250. Financing is not available at this time. 7)DELIVERY METHODS: A)Door to door shipping is acceptable. There are an endless number of transporters and brokers ready to serve you. We recommend you search the Internet for quotes prior to bidding. We will assist with the delivery any way we can. B)Massachusetts does not issue temporary license plates. So we use this standard procedure for out of state transactions. We ask that the buyer makes full payment on the vehicle. Once payment has been received and cleared, we will overnight mail to you the title and our bill of sale. At this point the buyer can register and acquire plates for pick up. Every State tends to have different laws so please check your state first if this is a concern. C)To Fly-In-Drive-Home, please use Logan Airport, Boston, MA. as the airport of choice. From there take the Logan Express Shuttle to Woburn, MA. This is about a ten minute ride and a courtesy pick up from us is available at that point. 8)Payment is to be received in full and all payment methods must clear before the release of the vehicle and/or any paperwork can be given. 9)Unless agreed upon, the vehicle is to be picked up within (7) days. After (7) days the vehicle will be brought to a storage facility subject to their liens for release. 10)Not concurring with any of the above terms could result in a loss of this sale.
