Parting with my vintage car collection has been harder on me than I thought. Now selling the last of my vintage Mercedes. The last "phineas" is the best one. 1967 Mercedes Benz 230 sedan. Finished in beautiful code 717, papyrus white with blue interior. It gets attention just sitting. Sporting whitewall tires and hubcaps and an automatic transmission. The headliner is decent and the dash has a crack. The Becker Europa is still present in the dash and the heater control levers all work. It will need an antenna. The fintail has been sitting in storage and the carbs will need to be adjusted. That is a common issue with twin carbs. They look great in the engine bay but need constant tinkering to make them work right. The rockers are clean and the trunk wells and trunk are clean too. The chrome is bright and the hoodstar still sits on the hood and commands attention. These old fintails were built to last and this one is a testament to the marque. There are a few scratches on the trunk lid from a vandal back in the day(see video and photo). I was planning on keeping this for my sons but the storage building has been sold and we must all leave soon. The interior is period correct and the seats do have wear. Nothing major. Please remember that this old girl is 44 years old and she still looks good. The odometer is howing 32158. It has turned over one time according to the previous owner.
