Here we have a piece of American history. This is a 1958 Chevy Fleetside pickup truck. It has the original 6cyl motor with the optional external oil filter and oil bath air filter, with a three speed on the column, and original starter button on the floor. The truck runs great. I have owned it for 10 years and it has given me a lot of good times. I have not used it much in the past two years so it is time to let someone else enjoy this beautiful truck. The brakes and wheel cylinders have recenty been replaced. The interior is very clean, no rips in the seat. The truck has chrome wheels, minor spots of rust on the wheels but very unnoticeable. The tires have plenty of tread on them but there is some dry rot on the sidewalls. The body is all there, the paint is peeling in spots. The bed has wood in it and is in good condtion, there are no holes in the bed and a tonneau cover with the rail system so there are no holes in the body. The bed is eight feet long, pretty rare with this year truck. The truck also has a heater and defroster which was rare on these trucks, and yes that works great.
