Lost my storage and must start parting with my collection. Selling this super rare 1965 Dodge Dart 270 Station Wagon. It has a 225 slant six motor with 3 speed manual transmission. It is fiinished in beige on fawn interior. It has travelled a scant 84,009 miles and is a Caliornia Black Plate car. It even sports period correct Crager SS mag wheels with Kelly raised white tires. Everyone seems to have s story of great memories when they see this wagon going down the road. Whenever I have stopped at a traffic light or gas station, it always strikes up a converstion. It has a clean title and has been lovingly maintained. The previous owner's dad was a mechanic and he performed most of the work on the wagon. The transmission and clutch was serviced and rebuilt at 73,015 miles, the motor mounts were replaced at 73,500, the u-joints were also replaced then. The differential was changed at 82,500 miles and the brakes and exhaust were replaced at 83,200. My intent was to shoehorn in a V8 and cruise this alongside my 1970 Charger RT/SE. However, the landlord wants his building back and I have one too many cars in there. There is surface rust along the hood and top of the wagon.(see photos and video). Not rusted through. The rockers are nice. The AM radio is still in the dash and has a mind of it's own at times. May be loose wire somewhere. The tread on the tires are deep and good. It runs good and shifts good too. The throwout bearinig is starting to chatter. May need to be addressed in the future. The rear window rolls up and down with ease. The interior is period correct and will need to be recovered in the future. I just drive it and perform task as needed. Would make an excellent cruise vehicle. Not too many of these vintage wagon around in original condition. This is one of them. With all my auctions, a few rules. First, NO PAYPAL.
