Vehicle Detail
Up for sale are two 1966 Mustang Coups with 6 cyclinder engines and 3 speed manual transmissions. These will need to be restored….I will describe each. Car #1 This car was purchased out of California and is pretty close to rust free with the exception of some rust on the trunk lid. Very repairable car. This car is originally Arcadian Blue but is currently Acapulco Blue (a 67 color). The engine and transmission run but this car needs a clutch and a tune up. This car has a header and dual exhaust….I have no idea why?? It can be drive short distances. I have driven it in town a few times and around our neighborhood. The interior is blue with bucket seats and the interior needs to be restored. The photos are labeled with car #1. This car has a California title that is messed up because the last owner crossed out some things on it. If you want a title for this car you will need to apply for a bonded title. It’s relative easy just a bit time consuming. Car #2 I purchased this car a few years back in hopes of restoring it for my son; a father son project. This car is Acapulco Blue and I was told it was special ordered in this color with a bench front seat. The interior is black and is brand new from Colorado Mustang in Denver. The 3-speed manual was replaced with a 1967 3-speed transmission because they were stronger than the 66’s. The engine was replaced with a crate engine and has never been started. I also replaced the carburetor with one from pony carbs in New Mexico. I also replace the entire exhaust system and clutch. This car has a clear Colorado title. I have not started it since the engine and everything else was replaced but could put in working order for the new owner if desired. I have the original engine sitting in the crate from the new one and the old 3 speed transmission if someone wants them. This car has some rust in the typical Mustang areas and need a couple small patches to the passenger frame rail. Not rust bucket but needs more work rust wise than car #1. I have no time to put this project together and desperately want my garage and driveway back. This is a no reserve auction… So bid to win!!!! My loss is your gain… I have $4000 in car #1 and at least $8000 in car #2….I’m sure I’ll be taking a loss here. I can work with the winning bidder about pick up arrangements and time to get them. These are for sale locally so the auction may end early if someone local buys them. EMAIL ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS PLEASE
