It was his pride and joy until he passed last year. Since then I have taken great care in ownership and have worked with Austin Speed Shop to make it into a reliable, perfectly-running vehicle. Easily a daily driver! This car has not been molested!CLEAR TEXAS TITLE IN HAND!Registered as Texas historic vehicle and has an original 1948 TX plate.ORIGINAL FLATHEAD V8 MOTOR Refurbishments: New headliner installed by Jim’s Top Shop (Austin, TX) in 2011All brake lines, pads, drums and actuator have been professionally replaced in 2011 by Austin Speed Shop Single outlet Porter Muffler installed in 2011. The sound is very, very mellow.Shorter leaf springs installed (to slightly lower stance) by Austin Speed Shop in 2011. I do have the original springs and will include them. Converted to 12 volt with Powermaster alternator (looks like original generator) in 2011. The original cloth wiring still looks great.All new bulbs including headlights installed in 2011Converted from points ignition to electronic ignition with Pertronix unit installed inside the original distributor for the original look, 2011 Installed new Pertonix Flamethrower Coil in 2011 Installed new spark plug wires in 2011 Original radiator rodded & cleaned in 2011 New radiator hoses installed in 2011 New water pumps installed in 2011 New belts installed in 2011Paint: Ford red/maroon – The photos don’t the paint’s shine and depth justice. You’ve got to come see it to truly appreciate the car. The paint was redone in 1992 and still looks excellent.Chrome: Redone in 1992 (have receipts).Tires: From 1992 and look like new!
