I am selling my 1968 Thunderbird, this is a super solid Bird with only 50K original miles. This car has rare color options, Aqua exterior with white vinyl and Black Accents, the car runs and drives excellent, the body is very solid, only very little minor surface rust on bottom of doors, undercarriage and trunk are rock solid. This could easily be a show quality Bird with a good paint job, the white vinyl top is in excellent condition, the interior is in graet shape for its age with only minor wear. The 429 Thunderjet engine purs like a kitten and is very strong, transmission shifts perfect. Drive this car anywhere, it goes down the road as smoothe as can be. This will be the final listing on this car. I have registrations from 1969 on this car, the car spent most of it's life in Seatle, from there it went to Florida until 2007. I've had lots of questions on this car so i will give more details as to the condition. The car is 99% rust free, the only rot is the bottom of the battery pan as a battery leaked at some point, (Easy Fix) and also there are a few 1/4 inch size rust spots on bottoms of outer door skins(The remaining inner and outer door structures are rock solid). The power window switch on the Drivers door is not working, the passenger door switch works fine, the power antenna is not working. The paint on car is faded, mainly on hood and trunk lid, there is one ding on the passenger wheel lip which is noticable in the photos, (very minor), the under carriage of the car is "Rock Solid", Frame, Floors, Trunk, etc., Some of the original undercoating is peeling other than that there is no undercarriage Rot whatsoever. The chrome on te car is in excellent condition. This is a straight, almost rust free bird that has 50K original miles. Any Bird Enthusiast would not be disappointed with this car at this Price.
