For sale, with hesitation, is a hard to find Toyota Tacoma " S RUNNER " in black with only 99,697 miles, in A- rating condition. This is not a typical Tacoma SR5, this is the Sport package, the Chevy S10 killer, the street version of the high rise off road TRD package, the "sport car" truck version of Toyota made only from 2001 - 2004. If you are searching for this for a while now, then you already know what this truck is all about! And this truck is something you need to see! It's very rare to find one for sale unless you want it in red. This is your chance to own this "sleeper" truck. S Runner came in 2 colors only. Radiant Red and Black Sand Pearl. The Black one is more desirable because many people thought the color Red didn't look good in pick up/trucks. This S Runner is spacious and comfortable for a little truck. The interior is in great condition, no tear anywhere just 1 or 2 minor scuffs. AC blows very cold air, heater is warm/hot. It comes with premium sounds, Radio, CD and Tape players. The original floor mats are still in good condition driver side one shows sign of wear. The V6 3.4L Engine and 5 speed manual Transmission are in great running condition, all original and unmolested, both 99,697 original miles. Most of these trucks were modified. A "TRD Supercharger" can be installed on this engine. I personally like my cars/vehicles stock so TRD Supercharger never crossed my mind, I'm a vintage vehicle type of person, Im very specific, this is the ONLY newer truck I really like, I looked for this truck for over 6 months!!!! I keep my vehicles original because it last longer and value are much better later on. Paint is still very nice and shiny, but not show quality... it's almost ten years old! No fading on paint - in hood, roof or anywhere in the body. It's hardly parked under the sun. It's either parked in my garage or under the tree in my street. Right now, it could use a wax/buff to get rid of tree sap and give it the show quality paint. Body is straight as a laser! never been in an accident, but has minor scuffs, dings (see pic #4 & #6 of rear cargo door and passenger front fender), chips here and there. Sliding rear window, Power windows, Power door locks, Smooth Steering and 5 speed manual shifting with cruise control, Dual Airbags, Tow package that I never once use, factory Rhinoliner bed. Truck bed was only used to transport my bikes to places such as near by shops or shows. This has NEVER been a "work" truck so it's NEVER abused. The driver seat comes with a power adjustable lumbar support, all seats are gray cloth. Leather trim on shift knob and steering wheel. The extra cab has factory privacy glass tint, push out rear side windows and sliding rear/back window. There's a bench style seat in the back of cab. All S Runners came 1" lower than standard tacoma and the suspension is much better, less harsh feel for a truck! Also has low profile Bridgestone Potenza rear tires and BFGoodrich front tires. I was going to take 3 days to deliver all 4 Potenza tires and I could not wait so I decided to go with the BFGoodrich. Tires are still good all around. Truck was made light weight because it is Toyota's "sport car / hot rod" version of the TRD trucks. You'll love it when you pass 2500 rpm, it's where the engine is more responsive, acceleration in any speed is never an issue. 0-60 in 7.5 sec Clean Title, low miles, all original unmolested vehicle! Comes with a bed extender cage/gate. Again, this is not a normal Tacoma you see everyday, it's got more power and torque, it's the "sleeper" street version of the TRD. I took good care of this truck, I thought I would never sell it. Always taken on time to Toyota Dealership for service, if not earlier. This truck has been my daily driver and it never gave me any problems other than a flat tire. You will not be disappointed. Life has taken another direction for me and it's now time to sell to get a family car. I sold few vehicles and other items here in the pass 6 months, all were my toys that I had to sell to downsize my collections. Please review the mileage and date, you can see that it was driven about 50 miles 7-8-08 to 7-9-08 then it passed smog check.
