For auction is a 1979 Buick regal turbo project. It needs assembly completed. I have all of the parts to complete the engine except a fuel pressure regulator to run w/o a/c. I am missing one bracket to hook up the a/c. It is the 86-87 intercooled set up. The transmission is correct GN 200r4 from a 1984 Grand National. The rear axle is also from the 84, but it is not a posi and not installed in the car yet. I started converting the brakes to hydroboost but did not finish. Also, the front of the engine, brackets etc. by water pump need to be assembled. The brake lines look new but I would suggest replacing everything at the wheels. I have a perf. electric fuel pump and proper GN gas tank, but need to be installed. The engine was disassembled after I got it by a mechanic and the pistons, cam, and crank appear to be new. He replaced the main bearings. It has 87 engine wire harness and ecm, but needs proper chip for injectors. The injectors are 42 lb. Everything else is stock GN. It has complete intercooler set up except the hoses. Also needs radiator hoses and serpentine belt. exhaust is stock manifolds to 3" downpipe (Kirbans) and 3" test pipe. I have a stock y pipe to go with it, but will need mufflers and tailpipes. I planned on running a pipe to the quarter between the door and wheel because it is old enough to be inspection exempt in NJ. Interior is 79 regal limited door panels with 84 GN dash, console, and seats. driver seat is ripped on cloth. Leather is decent. Headliner and carpet are from 86 GN. Body is rot free, but has two small spots of surface rust on driver's fender. Frame near the rear bumper needs a plate to patch a rust spot. the nose is not bolted to the car because it was easier to put the engine in and work on the assembly. I left it unbolted because if the buyer is buying it for the drive train, it will be easier to take it out. I can not complete because I went beyond my skill mechanically and i am laid off from my job right now so I can not pay someone for help. True milage unknown, odometer is from a Grand National, title says 148,000 piston cylinders show minimal ware as honing marks are still present.
