You are bidding on a 1981 Pontiac Firebird / Trans Am clone. Some restoration work already started: has a posi rearend that was blasted & painted black with new leaf springs, bushings & shackles. New rear brakes. The door hinges were rebuilt. Has a Pontiac 350 engine that was cleaned & painted. The motor will run, but is not completely hooked up at the moment, just don't have the time. This is a project car or could be used as a donor / parts car for your project. Overall, the car is solid - has very good T/A fenders, good T/A hood, nice doors, solid trunk pan, solid quarters, frame rails & trunk drops. It will need some rust repair in the floor pans, but I have brand new pans that could go with the car, depending on purchase price (I will include them with the car if the Buy It Now is used). I also have many other Trans Am parts available if someone chooses to put the car back together. The black door panels are in good condition, arm rests are nice, seats are decent, etc. - See pics. The car has factory gauges, tilt wheel & T-tops. Comes with a clear title. Would make for a good father/son project, an excellent source of parts for your T/A restoration OR could be parted out for a profit. There's at least $2,500 worth of parts if stripped out.
