Vehicle Detail

Bigger pictures waaaay down at the bottom. Ebay isn't working like it should lately. This is our 1995 F-350 2WD Crew Cab Long Wheelbase Dually. Say that ten times fast. Its been a good truck but were moving to a place where a 4x4 is a must. The pictures speak for themselves so I'll just give you a bit of history on the truck. in 2005 My then girlfriend who is now my wife bought me this truck to pull the camper we had just bought. We sold everything we had in Oregon, packed up and traveled for about 6 weeks across the country trouble free. I had to remove the drop bumper that came with the truck because the Vally V-5 hitch wouldn't fit. It pulled the travel trailer like a dream. After a couple years we sold the bumper pull and Purchased a 5th wheel. The hitch went with the 5th wheel when we sold it but the mounts are still in the bed. Its centered about an inch fwd of the axle and so it rides nice and still turns pretty sharp without ever hitting the cab. Gotta love a long wheel base truck. Speaking of Long bed, its nice to put a touring edition (2 seater ATV) Polaris in the bed and still close the tailgate not to mention full 4x8 sheets of plywood. I've hauled quite a few loads from lowes stacked level with the sides. It actually rides better the more you load it. The dual mass flywheel got to making a good bit of noise soI converted it over to a single mass with a new clutch and all about 4 years ago. Never had any major problems out of the truck. Just the regular stuff. Starter probably 4 years ago, Cam sensors last about 100,000 miles on them, one bolt to change them and I keep a spare in the glove box. Glow plugs and undervalve cover harness are a couple years old. New glowplug relay last winter. Last year while I was out of town my wife drove the truck to Atlanta and had a tire go out. The shop talked her into bushings and all in the front. I never thought it needed them but boy was I wrong. When I got home It felt like a brand new truck. Its had a few bumps and bruises along the way. there in the pictures and I can sum them up for you real quick. The rear fenders have light spider marks from rock flying up from underneath. The drivers door has a mark from my little brother pulling a bonehead move. It was a cold morning and he decided to be nice and start my truck for me on his way to school. Instead of getting in the truck he reached in and pushed the clutch by hand and turn the key. Bad idea, sideswiped the fence in the background before the tire hit the post and stalled the truck. The only damage was the paint at the edge of the door and that was because his leg was in the way. needless to say i left it like that as a reminder for him. On the left front fender and ATV ran into me right about were the f350 emblem is and on the left rear fender there is a small crack for a parking lot. The front bumper has had a dent in it from before I owned it. I replaced both headlights because the plastic faded but about a month later a bird hit the right light and cracked it so it has condensation in it. I just replaced both batteries with Napa gold 75 series. The A/c blows cold but needs a clutch, I'll take care of that before you pick it up. The left rear solinoid for the power locks doesn't work. The running boards are the strongest and best looking I've ever seen on these trucks. There probably what saved my brothers leg. The windshield is clear and damage free. The factory tint on the rear windows is old and separating. It has a bug shield that I have kept on it for protection but I took it off for the pictures because I think it looks better without it. That's about it. Happy bidding!
