Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my trusty and loved VW Diesel Jetta. This car is sweet, runs and drives AWESOME, and has been well maintained and upgraded. I really hate to sell her, but we've just moved onto a boat, and we don't need a car any more. So, someone gets my sweet, loved little baby. I've just finished investing $5,000 in upgrades and maintenance, so this car is absolutely fantastic! This little gem is ready to serve her new owner for years and years to come. I regularly get 42 miles per gallon in her! She's got brand new brakes in the front and in the rear. I just had a brand new 100,000 mile timing belt installed, along with a brand new injection pump, starting battery, and rear bushings. The tires are a matched set of four high-quality tires, and they have plenty of tread left on them. There is a full sized spare in the trunk. I've also just had the car detailed and reconditioned, and an awesome VW Bora front grille installed. She's got brand new floor mats and seat covers too. These are the good seat covers that break open if the air bags in the seats deploy. Also installed two new aero windshield wipers, a new air filter, a new fuel filter, and oil change. I've always only used the highest quality synthetic diesel rated engine oil every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, so the engine has been maintained properly and operates as she should. Other recent maintenance includes: replacing the glow plug controller, glow plugs and harness ABS braking sensor, front drivers side door latch, coolant flush and refill. All lights and locks and windows and such work properly. She's simply great! Over the years I have installed upgrades like: VW roof rack/carrier bars nice big car top carrier to give her lots of extra cargo carrying capacity (Packasport 30 cu. ft. model: costs $1,000!) towing hitch with two different sized balls so that she can tow a trailer a Greasecar Vegetable oil fuel system with the auxiliary tank located in the spare tire wheel well in the trunk a solar window vent for those hot days in the sun in the parking lot in the summer an electric coolant heater (TDI heater) to warm the engine during the winter when parked in your driveway new rear hubs/bearings for strong towing performance Master Lock steering wheel security lock Extra instrumentation: an oil pressure gauge a vegetable oil temperature gauge a vegetable oil tank-level gauge The only "bad" thing is that the body and interior are not absolutely perfect. This is a used car, after all, so there are some small dents/nicks/scratches/scrapes/stains/etc that you can see in the photographs, but the overall condition is very good. The pictures show everything, so take a minute to look at them to see the condition of the interior and exterior. She's totally ready to charge through the winter with her auxiliary heater, ready to carry five people with tons of cargo in the roof top carrier, and ready to tow your boat or camper or cargo trailer with ease. To put it short, shes needs nothing and is all tuned up proper and rearing to go. She just flew through her inspection. I'm listing this car as a no-reserve auction, so the highest bidder gets it. It is still my daily driver, so the mileage will be a little higher than shown in the instrument panel photo by the time she sells. Someone is going to be a VERY happy camper with this car! Note: the Greasecar system is in excellent condition with a recent complete cleaning, filter, and replaced fuel and coolant lines. I have disconnected it, however, when I installed the new injection pump, because I want to offer the new buyer the option to decide if he or she wants to use the vegetable oil system with the new pump. As it is now, the new pump has never pumped anything but pure diesel fuel, and if you never want to use the Greasecar system, then there is no issue, because it is disconnected. If you do want to use the Greasecar system, all that has to be done is to connect the vegetable oil fuel lines to the injection pump, and you are ready to go. That just takes a screw driver and a couple of minutes to do. Literally. It's an eco-friendly driver's dream, and so much cheaper to maintain than a hybrid. I should know...my uncle repairs priuses. Oh yeah, not only all that, but I'm also throwing in: an awesome GPS with windshield mount a Bentley shop manual a set of heavy duty jumper cables in case you ever need to jump start someone an input adapter to play your ipod/iphone.droid through the car stereo, which sounds like new by the way.
