Keep in mind this is a big 2 door car that has a heavy feeling you recognize as soon as you close the door. The V8 engine is punchy and very reactive for roadster of this caliber. Overall this car is very safe, has excellent handling, but most importantly it is an extremely comfortable car to drive. Even after 20 years this car still turns heads. Its just that NICE ! The current owner has taken very good care and the SL500 has always been garage kept since he took ownership. Serviced as recommended, everything is current which makes this car 100% road ready fort the new owner. The inside is very clean, no rips, no stains, leather is in good condition, and all components work properly. The body overall is clean, with only a few minor imperfections. The metallic Black paint shimmers in the sunlight and has a high gloss luster still after all these years.
