Vehicle Detail

You see a lot of C code Mustangs, but not too many A code cars. Especially one with great options like the power disc brakes, power steering, and being red on red. This is the one to restore. The only reason I'm selling this car is because I would end up modifying it and it would lose all that it is about. It's an original red car with red interior, factory power Kelsey four piston disc brakes, factory power steering, factory 4 barrel, C4 car. The front calipers and hoses have just been replaced, the rear brakes rebuilt, rebuilt transmission, rebuilt Holley carb, new fuel tank, new sending unit, new filler tube, new brake switch, new front marker lights, new water pump, new hoses, new thermostat, new battery cables, and more. The car was sitting for about fifteen years before I got it from my brother and sister-in-law who has owned it since 1978. It runs great and I've been driving it around without problems. It could probably use new shocks though. The 289 is healthy with an old school Torquer manifold, Holley carb, and headers. It has just been shot with red oxide epoxy after taking care of the little surface rust from sitting. As you can see from the pictures, it needs some bodywork, (a little rust in the passenger quarter, and driver side drip rail), paint, rubber, and it needs an interior kit. I do have a new headliner for it that is included though. I will also throw in a radiator that has just been rodded out and has a fabbed shroud on it for an electric fan if the buyer wants it. All in all, this is a great California car that can be driven while you restore it. Nobody has attempted to turn it into a rat rod or pro touring car like a lot of Mustangs you see. The car is advertised locally and the seller reserves the right to end the auction at any time. No warranties or guaranties expressed or implied.
