Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1994 GMC Sierra 1 ton 4x4 dually diesel for lack of use. I sold the farm a year ago and really have not used it since. I have just been starting it every other month or so to keep it working good. I used it to pull farm equipment and a 3 horse slant trailer. It is in pretty good shape overall, a few dings and a broken piece of plastic on the front, and very little rust due to it coming from out west. I rebuilt the 6.5 Turbo diesel engine about 5 years ago and only put on about 25,000 miles. It is bored .030" 0ver with rod and main bearings .010" over. I put reman heads on it and moved the FSD onto a heat sink in the bumper. I added the 97 cooling upgrade along with new injectors and glow plugs and rebuilt the turbo as well. I put in a new 4 wheel drive actuator a week ago so that works fine. I installed a bigger intake filter and a 4" exhaust. I also put in some gauges to keep track of the EGT and Boost pressure. The starter and flex plate were replaced during the rebuild as well. Both batteries are just under 2 years old. I invested about $3,500 into parts and machine work during the rebuild. Tires are about 75% and it has a good spare. Now the issues. It has a cracked windshield, cracked fender well, and cracked plastic on front along with a dent. The drivers door doesn't latch perfect every time. The A/C does not work. There is a minor draw (1/4 amp) on the batteries so I added a battery cut off switch that I use for the longer times in between uses. The coolant level light is broken so it shows low coolant all the time even though it is full. Paint is fading and clear coat has flaked off in places, pretty common for this age of a vehicle. Please feel free to ask more questions, come take a look, or request more pictures. It is in Hart Michigan 49420, the 3 horse slant trailer (with changing room) in the picture is not included but is also for sale for what is owed on it which is around $10,000.
