Item Description: You are bidding on a 1953 Chevrolet Chevy Pickup Truck. Great Rat/ Hot Rod project! This is a running and driving truck with a 235 CID engine. Engine was rebuilt several years ago and has less then 10k miles on it. Owner advised me that the clutch slips and he has problems keeping the battery charged, otherwise it's a great runner. All the gauges are in working order. New brake lines and exhaust. Includes (5) chrome rim beauty rings. Emergency brake does not work because the floor is pretty rusted out. There's usual rust all along the body that's consistent with this type of vehicle, so it will require body work. Pretty much all the windows have some sort of crack(s) with the exception of the windshield, as shown in photos. Owner has a couple of extra parts we'll include in the sale: 3 doors, (1) left fender, and rear bumper. There's more parts available, as we dig them out I try to list them. Truck is not in show room condition and will need some work to get it there but if you're looking for a pickup to restore, this is very good start!! Title in hand and it's free and clear. Here's the list: 4 extra headlight bezels, 5 wheel beauty rings, good rear window, visor with chrome trim, extra chrome bumper, 1 extra right rear fender, 1 extra left door, 2 extra right doors, left and right front fenders with insert panels and fender supports (good enough for replacement), 2 spare hood emblems, new valve cover gasket, 2 new cardboard door panels, an extra 10" clutch bell housing, and various trim items.
