I am relunctantly selling my 47 Dodge 2 ton truck with a stake body. Just too many vehicles to keep track of. This truck came off of an apple orchard in Vermont and was restored by it's previous owner. I do not know if the mileage shown is correct but I would presume it is, knowing the history of the truck. The cab and fenders' sheet metal is excellent, with no dents. No rust anywhere. It shows very well with shiny blue and black paint. I recently re-stained and varnished the wood on the stake body. The truck starts and runs very smooth. The brakes were all gone through last year and they work great. All the lights work properly. The tires have a lot of tread but they are old and weather checked. I put in a new 6 volt battery last year. The driver side half of the windshield is starting to bubble around the edge from age, but it is flat glass and if you choose to replace it, it would not be hard to do. Truck still has the original old outside rear view mirrors. This is a very pretty truck and gets a lot of attention.
