Vehicle Detail
Please do not bid if you are not willing to pay. I must re-list this item do to a non-paying bidder. I have restored a lot of bikes, and this one is a perfect candidate. Missing ONLY the battery, chain and air cleaner (both of which are easy to find) the rest of this bike is ALL THERE. I have hurt myself (yes on a bike, at 65 you would think I would know better) and can no longer consider working on this. Condition: Mileage is believed to be correct at 5626. Engine turns over freely and shifts freely into all gears. Amal Carb slide works freely. I do not know if this engine runs, cause originally I was gonna rebuild the engine anyway, and did not care as long as it turned over. I would have re-chromed all chrome, painted gas & oil tank and side cover and powder coated everything else. SS fenders are great. Tires hold air but are weather checked. Last registered in 85, with a clear title and original owners manual. Wire Harness and electrical seem to be nice and tidy. This is Triumph's original Desert Sled, and was designed as a dual purpose bike. A great restoration project cause you dont have to search for parts. They are all there. Shipping is up to the buyer and I will work with any shipper you choose. $200 deposit required on purchase via pay-pail with balance due in certified funds or cash on completion of sale. The minimum I will take for this bike is $1500 and it is a steal at that. I have a buy-it-now price of $2000 listed. Check out my feedback and bid with confidence. I am a "straight-shooter" and you can contact me ar. Nomis64@fastmail.fm or 706-374-1095. John On Aug-31-11 at 07:57:01 PDT, seller added the following information: As so many of you have pointed out, I stated this is a TR6C. My mistake, it is a T100-C. The 1970 NC Title shows the engine # as AD36617-T100C and the Frame as AS36617-T100C, and it matches the bike, so yes, the numbers match. A Little more info. The gas tank is clean and dry, but I would coat it anyway to be safe. No dents in any of the sheetmetal or gas tank. Bike is located 90 miles N of Atlanta. I am willing to deliver it anywhere for $1.00 per mile, 1 way, (plus expenses if overnight is required) with a $50 minimum.
