1969 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible, 400 cubic inch V8 with a 4 barrel carb. Rated at 325 hp /440 lbs ft. torque. Black with black top and gold interior. Garaged and driven only in spring, summer, and fall since 1981, runs great. Just had it out the other day and runs as good as it ever did like a scalded ape, I love to “get rubber” in second gear. The car has a few imperfections and scratches as you would expect for a 42 year old car but it is still a hot commodity that will get you looks at all day long. The original color was gold and it didn’t present well in gold so it was painted black in 1985 and then again in 2000. The original color may have been gold but it really doesn’t matter for 20 footer that is your nice day driver. Olds Super stock wheels and Eagle GT 245/60R14 raised letter tires. The interior is in good shape considering the age, door panels and carpet are not perfect and weather strip could use some attention but the car never gets driven in the rain or winter so those things do not keep you from driving it on weekends or evenings. Car was rustproofed in the 90s which I believe has made a difference in the body remaining as solid as it is. On average this car was driven maybe 200-300 miles a year for the last 30 years.
