I built this bike about a year ago but have not been able to get it to run quite right. It seems to be running rich on the right side. It will start right up, idle fine, run at highway speed just fine, but between 1/8 & 1/2 throttle it wants to cut out on the right side sometimes and that plug is running dark. I have not tried a new set of carbs, I suspect thats what it might need. The top end has been rebuilt by a local machine shop, bored .75 over with new piston, ring & pin set. Fresh valve job as well & all new gaskets. Im sure the bike is timed correctly and has new points. We have taken this bike to a few shows and it has gotten A LOT of attention, it has a custom built hardtail, sissy bar, pipes, battery box with new battery, license tailight mount, chain roller, 1970's 7/8" Z bars, trailer fender. Gas tank is nos Honda 175. Akront aluminum 21" front wheel with new chen shin, rear wheel is Honda 500 hub laced to Harley wheel with new Shinko whitewall. Paint is very cool with Dupont one stage black frame, tank & fender have black base & red glitter in the clear & red stripes. Starting bid is less than what I have invested.
