Vehicle Detail
Very Unique Classic car that could be driven to any cruise or car show. It was restored several years ago where the original engine was pulled and rebuilt with a Competition Cam, Tunnel Ram intake dual Holley Carbs the transmission was freshened up as well and all runs and operates great. I bought this car from an woman that was retiring, her and her husband built this car to be able to drive to events such as car shows, parades, cruises, etc. It really turns heads while riding in comfort the 460 big block gives you plenty of torque for times you want to put on some good ole burning rubber and hear that classic car roar to life. When I got the car it still had the factory gear ratio rear end - I installed a 3.55 gear so it could still be driven on the freeway. Needless to say with stock gears and all that fuel from dual carbs she was sluggish off the dead start - but the 3.55 took care of that. I've owned this car for over 4 yrs and have driven it to local cruises and car shows with no problems. It has a few nicks and dings from being a daily driver and no trailer queen treatment. The control arm bushings are getting worn and should be replaced soon. The vinyl top is getting a little faded, the rear deck lid has a couple small bubbles on the bottom edge. Presently I've got too many other hobby's and I'm ready to part with the Lincoln - it's been a fun reliable car and I'm sure who ever buys it will enjoy as well. Winter is coming to Michigan and I need the room in my barn so I'm listing with no reserve. PS I had classic car insurance on the Lincoln, Haggerty Insurance appraised it's value at $10,000.00 in 2010. The engine alone is worth my starting price. I want to use the money from this sale to buy a old farm tractor and brush hog, etc. If you have those items and want to make a deal - let me know. Also listed for sale locally - Auction could end if right deal comes along. Here is a video you can take a walk around tour and here the engine fire up ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PXikMbbmno
