1997 FORD RANGER XLT Color: Flat Black Wheels: 17" Ford Mustang (Gunsmoke/Aluminum) Tires: Toyo 245/45ZR17 I bought this truck for my 17yr. old about two years ago. We purchased it from a gentlemen in Mass. and it was not exactly what we expected. The truck runs great but has a problem with starting. However, my son still drives this truck on a weekly basis. We have since purchased another truck, and do not have the room or the time to get the truck repaired. The motor has a little over 130,000 miles on it and does not smoke. The transmission and clutch also feel strong. We have installed a new alternator, battery, front brake calipers and front brake lines on the truck over the last few months. The rear main brake line has been disconnected due to a leak in the line. The truck overall looks ok but contains rust. I assume this is normal for the year and location of where the truck came from. This truck has been lowered and is sitting on a set of 17" Ford Mustang Wheels and a set of Toyo 245/45ZR17 tires. Exterior: Color is flat black and is faded on the hood, top of the cab, and along the top of the bed. There is a gray and blue pinstripe along the side of the truck that matches the interior seats. As mentioned above the body contains some rust. Front bumber has small dents and rust along the front portion of the bumper. Interior: Dash is black(dyed), Seats are dark gray and blue and contain no rips or stains. Wheels: 17" Gunsmoke/Aluminum Ford Mustang Wheels Overall the truck looks ok and will take you from point A to point B once the starting issue is resolved. Aside from that it could become a parts truck due to the motor/drivetrain, headlights, tail lights, seats, dash, door panels, wheels and tires. Will assist in delivery of truck once payment has cleared. Starting issue started after the truck ran out of gas. I do not know if that is what caused the problem or if there is something else wrong with it. We have been able to crank the truck a few times after repeated turns of the ignition switch. However, we usually have to push/pull the truck and pop the clutch to get it cranked. Once this has been done it will crank with the key until it sits for more than 3 - 4 hours.
