This is a 1951 Ford Pickup F-1. It has an old Flathead V-8 and a 3 on the column shift. The restoration is approximately 55% complete. As you can see from the photos, I was trying to restore it to the model truck shown. I simply can not finish it and hope someone can complete it. I do have a title for this truck. The door emblems were hand drawn then clear-coated. Really pretty truck. .Starts up quickly and runs good. It does have a small tick in a lifter that will need adjusting. The truck bed was purchased new because I simply could not restore the original one. The other body metal is original to this truck; other truck parts are either original to this truck or to another 51-Ford F-1. “If it isn’t steel; it isn’t real”! All metal body parts were blasted, coated, and painted. All four fenders, cab, and running boards have Rhino Liner sprayed under them to reduce any damage from rust or road debris. The truck frame has been coated in Rhino Liner. Front grill and bumper have been chromed. 5 New White Wall tires. New wiring harness. Bench set was recovered. New door seals (not installed) and a stainless windshield molding. New metal floor plan, new metal side panels Firewalls, front fenders, front grill, and hood remain to be installed. Steering Column needs installation. Hydraulic brake system is new \ restored working great, emergency brake cables all new. Starter and generator was rebuilt to the original 6 volt standards. New 6 volt Radio, plus the old radio. Speedometer was rebuilt. Extra starter, generators, gauges, carburetors, Basically everything is here to complete the restoration; excluding the glass.
