Disclaimer: eBay automatically populated that this was an All wheel drive after I entered the VIN, Turbocharged 3.6, but IT IS NOT. It's a Rear-wheel drive, non-turbo 3.8L. I was unable to edit that on their form. It's a Carrera 2S. 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S (black with leather) - this car is amazing! When I chose to purchase this car, I opted for the 997. The improvements over the 996 were substantial enough to merit the newer model, plus it is still the current model. The car Garage kept and handled with care! Ask nicely, and I'll include a free baby's diaper with your purchase! Air bags front and side, naturallyHas a clear bra across the front, the mirrors, and on the rear fenders The Carrera S is the sportier model. A normal Carrera could do, but why short change yourself. You definitely NEED the extra horsepower. FAST - the 3.8L flat 6 engine is the biggest engine EVER in a 911. Power, heated front seats with 2 memory settings for the driver seatManual 6-speed transmission. Close inspection of the front bumper shows what appears to be a cosmetic only paint crack spot in the bumper. You have to be VERY close to see it. It is nothing that needs to be replaced or repaired. In addition, one of the rims has a dent in it, but it does not impact the tire, and it is only viewable at a certain angle.2+2 seating, which means kids under 10 can fit in the back seats with NO problems. My 4 and 7 year-old kids love riding around with me. This is my weekend car, and I bought it from another person who had it as a 2nd car as well. I don't drive it in bad weather or as a commuter car, although it is perfectly fit for a commuter car, unlike other sports cars. I purchased the car in October 2010 from a doctor. He didn't like the car because his golf clubs wouldn't fit easily. I'm selling because I don't take it out as much as I thought I would. Automobile Magazine shows the Porsche 911 as the 2nd coolest car period. http://www.automobilemag.com/features/0410_coolest_cars/stingray.html The stereo I had the following installed: Custom double-din stereo with bluetooth, so you can use it to stream music from your Android phone or iPhone. I like to stream Pandora through my Droid over Bluetooth. The stereo also has Sirius radio input, and you can add the optional HD radio adapter to add HD radio to it. It has a remote control as well. I added a 600 watt amplifier and 6" custom fit sub that fits perfectly behind the seat. It's an all-in-one composite box with embedded sub. The front speakers sound SO much better running through the amp. To round everything out, I would recommend getting something other than the factory antenna, which I find less than acceptable. The head unit can be removed and replaced with any other double DIN one you choose. It has a VERY custom Porsche labeled bezel that makes the stereo look as if it was from the factory. You would not believe what it took to find that puppy. That, or you can replace it with the factory stereo (I will include it with your purchase) if you want to get Navigation back. I found the Navigation unit very poorly designed. I use my Droid for turn-by-turn, so I didn't need it. Performance From WikiPedia: "The 0--100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration for the Carrera S with the 355 PS (261 kW; 350 hp) was noted to be as fast as 4.2 seconds in a recent Motor Trend comparison, and Road & Track has timed it at 3.8 seconds. "A more powerful 3.8 L 355 PS (261 kW) Flat 6 powers the Carrera S. Besides a more powerful engine, the Carrera S also comes standard with 19 inch (48 cm) "Lobster Fork" style wheels, more powerful and larger brakes (with red calipers), a more sporty suspension, complete with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) which allows for electronic adjustability of suspension settings, Xenon Headlamps, and Sport Steering wheel."
