Hi, up for sale is a 1993 Mazda rx7. I bought this car with the intention of fixing it up and driving it, but i need money for a house down payment . I will list all the problems with the car that i know about. When i bought the car it had been sitting for 3 years in someone drive way here is FL. Well the FL sun did a job on the clear coat, its peeling on the entire car. The car did not run when i bought it i had the fuel tank cleaned and installed a new fuel pump and strainer cleaned the fuel lines new filter and ran some sea foam thru the injectors. The engine was rebuilt about 4 years ago and now has around 15000 miles on it. I did a compression test and both rotors have 97psi. The interior is in good shape aside from some normal ware on the seats and some cracks in the leather on the seats. There is some rust on the front of the seat tracks and near the fuel door. the fuel door release cable seems to be tight and will not release the fuel door. I have it disconnected now. The right hinge for the rear hatch cover is broke. This car is the touring edition with the Bose acoustic stereo system the stereo has power and light up but no sound is coming from it. The odometer works and counts miles but does not always light up on the dash. Car needs new tires. Someone installed an old type cell phone in the center console, i removed it. Its a complete car the needs a little tlc. Im not really a Mazda guy but i know theses are nice rare collectible cars and would like to see it go to someone who really appreciates them. all the power windows work and the sun roof. The air blows cold. I have not driven the car very much. i think i have put about 30 miles on it. There seems to be a little flat spot when accelerating with a cold engine, after it warms up it goes away. The transmission shift smooth and accurate. The buyer of the car should arrange shipping or pick up. I suggest coming to look at the car before buying if possible.
