Own a piece of history! Up for auction is a 1996 chevrolet caprice 9c1 police package w/ the LT1 corvette engine. This vehicle spent its life as an admin car for carson city california fire, it has 42,xxx original miles! (still has yellow light in back and wigwags) I bought this to use as a demo along side the new 2012 caprice, but decided on another project instead. i am including new impala tail lights and new impala style grill w/ the chevy bowtie. For its age this vehicle is in really good shape, interior is carpet and there are some stains on the floor, but overall not bad ( prob just needs some cleaning). Exterior the body is in some of the best shape i have seen for a caprice police car! there are a couple places where the paint is starting to chip and the drivers mirror was (i think) shoved against the freight trucks sides when it was originally shipped here from california, thus the scratch, broken mirror, and dent.............other than that it runs GREAT,no leaks, no drips,no rust! love driving this car! If i was going to keep it i would prob replace the pass rear tire too. NICE FAST CAR that needs a good home! i am currently driving and enjoying this car, so mileage will be greater than listed. NO TRADES, i have enough cars as it is! Good Luck!
