Vehicle Detail
This is a 1980 gs250. It has been extensively modified. It has a whole new frame from the back bone and foot pegs back . The frame is 14"s longer than stock. It is rigid with a skate board seat and the skate board truck was used to mount it and give the seat "SOME" suspension. The 40's lunch box is the tool / storage box. The handle bars are clip ons. The head light housing is a KC off road housing. There are no keys needed for the bike. It has a toggle instead. But i do have the original ignition switch and key if you want them. The exhaust is black wrapped straight pipes with a turn down. It has after market air filters. The paint on the tank and fender have a patina that was satin cleared over to give the "RIDDEN" look. The gas that ran down the tank out of the filler was done intentionally and the cap has a new gasket. It sits very low. The tail light / brake light is from a 1958 ford and is mounted on a custom license plate mount. The tires are in great shape and have lime green letters. It just took 1st place in its first bike show. It gets a ton of attention WHEREVER it goes. The bike is not "PERFECT" looking. I built it to look like its been this way since 1980. A lot of people love it and some purists hate it. Some call it a rat bike, rat rod, bobber, cafe, chopper, and many other things. I call it "FRANKENBOB'S CAFE"I bought the bike in Georgia with a bill of sale. In that state you only need a bill of sale on bikes 85' and older. I had the numbers ran and its clean. I live in North Carolina and you can register it here after you bond it. That's $100. I am moving and need the money more than the bike. You can see more pictures on my face book page : KRACKERS inc. Franklin, N.C. I know im forgetting some things and will post them as i remember. The bike is for sale locally and i will remove this listing if it sells. If you have any questions about the bike - feel free to call or text. (828)342-9036 I dont mind to answer questions about the bike just PLEASE don't waste my time if your not serious. I just added a few pictures of the bike that were taken with a cell phone during a recent shoot so they arent the greatest quality but i thought it might show the size of it. Yesterday it took first place AGAIN at its second show.
