This 1988 Vanagon is in good condition. This has been a great vehicle for me in the 11 years I have owned it. It makes a nice van for a short camping trip. Seats 7 and lots of room for cargo. It had about 160,000 miles when I purchased it in 1999, the speedometer didn't work so I replaced it with a new one, mileage shows 41,650. Sometimes you need to turn the key off and on to get it to start. Currently the A/C is not working. There is rust on both footwells. There are dents on the body (see pics) and some paint fading. Exhaust is getting noisy. Other than that it runs great. I have a spare dent free hatch in matching color to include. The following has been replaced in the time I have owned it: front brake pads, front rotors, rear brake shoes, rear wheel cylinders, master cylinder, fly wheel and clutch. Also upgraded to a newer VW radio with a 6 disc CD changer and HID headlights. Cash or Cashiers check accepted. Please pay within 7 days of auction close.
