1972 240Z. $1500 obo. White with red racing stripe. I’ve owned this car for about 10 years. Involved in a fender bender in 2006 (damage to hood and headlight buckets). I removed the headlight buckets and front air dam. I’ve had too many other projects going on to have the time to repair to continue the repair. A few simple parts (dash cover, driver’s side window components, fuel compartment door) have been removed for other project cars. These could be easily replaced. There is also damage to the roof. While parked, a kid climbed up on the roof and caused the damage. Nothing a good body guy couldn't get out. Considered turning the car into a parts car but just can’t bring myself to do it. Someone needs to put this baby back on the road. Car has set for a while but has been started and ran regularly. Starts on the first try and runs like a dream. Since headlights have been removed, car is not road ready so it could not be driven home. Some other positives and negatives: 5 speed manual trans Mallory electronic ignition Mallory electronic fuel pump Nice cam in original engine Custom exhaust…car sounds incredible Front air dam but it is cracked in one place Whale tail spoiler removed from back hatch (do not still have) Frame rail on passenge side rusted and would need repair Bad brake booster but have a repalcement to send with the car Door panels are off vehicle but do have them to send with car Has set and clutch won't engage transmission. Maybe bad clutch master cylinder. Didn't do this when parked. Sabelt racing seats and 5 point racing harness I have a few more good parts from older Z's I'll send with the car if the buyer wants them....rear end, etc. Happy to answer any questions or take additional pictures.
