Heres a 1956 Chevy 6400 2-ton dumpbox. I started it, have put a lot of money into parts, and I do not have the time to finish it! .with kids in traveling summer sports my summers are takin up for years . and i dont want it to rust apart i want someone who will take it all the way and make it look like it did in 56 . as i dont have time any more heres whats been done in last 2 yrs new fuel pump , battery , cap , pionts , rotor , battery cable changed air cleaner from oil bath to air. new carb kit found in canada installed . brand new brake shoes in front not even 20 miles on them rear shoes relined brand new . 5 of the 6 wheel cylinders rebuilt one brand new from napa spendy . all rear axle wheel bearings brand new from napa as well as new rear wheel seals , rear end has 3 gallons of new 85-90 w gear oil . the transmission new gear oil as well . replaced tranny front shaft was out of it and front cover was broke so i replaced it with newer tranny and replaced front rubber seal . and while tranny was out looked at clutch looks new so that was replaced before i bought it .master cylinder rebuilt new kit . hydrovac rebuilt new kit last summer no brake line leaks or nothing having trouble getting air out of hydrovac any one has ideas lets hear em please .starts right up runs like a top . 4 x 2 tranny powered by a 261 cu 6 cylinder. and with 81611 actual miles she is in good shape . front wheel bearings wear cleaned repacked and put back in as they where still good shape . the front windsheild and drivers vent windows came cracked to me needed to be replaced never got to it. floor inside is perfect no holes little surface rust solid as a rock . body perfect may be a ding or small dent no major rust on front or sides . back of cab has holes as can be seen minnesota salt and gravel roads did that .thats all the metal replacement there is that i know of. the box is powered by a twin cylinder hoist . pictures coming the pto cable broke trying to raise box for pictures .will see about getting it workin. goodyear 22.5 tires on it no recaps .truck is rated for 18000 lbs , i have tried to describe the truck best i can and questions or more pictures i will do to answer best i can please ask thank you happy bidding. p.s put on new muffler last fall
