This truck is a former firefighting vehicle, and shows use. Other information: - There is some rust on the truck bed and some rust on other parts of the body. However, the truck is not rusted out. There is a rust hole on the passenger door as shown in the photo. - The truck cranks fine. There is a kill switch on the front of the truck. - I drove the truck 55 MPH on a state highway. I believe it is roadworthy and had no concerns driving it around. - The manual transmission changes gears easily. I have driven the truck in 2WD and 4WD. It shifts from 2H to 4H and 4L very easily. However, the right front locking hub seems to be stuck in the "FREE" position. I will update this auction listing once I am able to unlock it. - The key that cranks the truck does not seem to open the door locks. I have not tried too hard because I do not want to risk breaking the key. - The brakes work, but I would have the brakes inspected/worked on. Although this is a big truck, I think the brakes should stop more firmly than they do. *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Features: This is a good, solid truck. However, if you want a museum-quality truck, this is not the truck for you. If you want to put it on display, etc., it will need painting and some aesthetic repairs. However, it seems to be mechanically sound. After the truck was delivered, I realized that the W300 was too big for what I wanted. I simply did not do enough research to realize how big this truck is.
