This Leaf has every option available for the 2011 model year. If you're into gadgets, this thing will amaze you. It can even text or email you when charging is completed, allow you to start/stop charging via your smartphone or internet, or even turn on/off the climate controls from your smartphone! The Nav system has live XM traffic displayed, along with all charging stations (automatically updated frequently). The idea of keeping the dollars I spend on 'fueling' my car in the LOCAL economy, rather than sending them to the Middle East is very appealing to me. Even better, if you have a photovoltaic system at home, you can offset the charging cost and drive on sunshine! I bought this car as a long-time Prius owner, wanting to make the switch to all-electric. Since the (very recent) purchase, I've come to the conclusion that I can't afford to keep the Prius as a second car, and I think the Leaf is better suited for an urban dweller. I live up in the foothills, and the car would make my round-trips to town/commute with no trouble, but not with a lot of margin. I was very willing to accept the limitations, especially as charging stations are popping up all over the place (just saw two in Lincoln City the other day), but only if I could keep the Prius tucked away for occasional use. SO, what I have is an absolutely factory-mint, showroom condition Leaf (except for dust on the tire tread, I suppose). This car was driven from Wilsonville Nissan to my garage and hasn't been touched since, other than a single trickle-charge session to full charge. All factory warranties are fully transferrable, of course. You'll miss out on the visit to the finance manager's office at the dealer, but I can describe the experience for you, if you've never had the pleasure! :) Fire away with questions, and happy bidding!
