What a find for any Diesel enthusiast! Having been a previous TDI owner, I purchased this vehicle off of ebay in the Spring of this year because my job required that I traveled long distances and the TDI's are perfect for this. Infact, on one trip, using cruse control, I maintained an amazing 58mpg! Upon delivery of the vehicle, I had the local dealer do a 4 point inspection and they found some things that needed to be corrected to perform the way a VW TDI should. This included: Replacement of middle head rest in the back seat of the vehicleBrand new back wiper arm and bladeDriver's side mirror replacedInstallation of heavy duty rubber mats in both front and rear and a plastic mat for the cargo bay Deglazing and buffing of headlamp lensReplacement of rear parking light bulbReplacement of both rear shocks and coil springsRepacement of outer CV BootsReplacement of clutch pressure plate and release bearingDue to severe carbon build up, the manifold and EGR valve were replacedReplacement of the starterReplacement of negative cableReplacement of the RadiatorReplacement of one (1) Glow plugSo, whomever purchases this vehicle should have nothing to worry about for a long time! I have changed the synthetic oil every 3 or 4K and have maintained the car in a meticulopus way. Unlike the new "common rail" TDI engines that VW is placing in their new vehicles, the 1.9 engine is perfectly compatible with biodeisel of many sorts. I have placed pictures of varoius "flawes" of the vehicle, but in all, it is in great shape and is just getting broken in for a new owner. Pick up is desired, but I will accomandate any transport service. PayPal, cashier's check or "official" bank check are accepted forms of payment for this listing. Local dealer has reset twice, but it usually returns a couple days later. I have two other TDI friends who have similar issues and one has turn off this light as a way to solve this issue. I will have the dealer check again before winning bidder picks up vehicle.
