You are bidding on a 1998 Lincoln Town Car Signature which has been mechanic owned since January 2000. This 2 owner Lincoln is in excellent shape for its age. The title is clear and ready to be signed over immediately. There are no liens on the title. Emissions testing is up to date and has passed every required test. We are selling it for our mechanic who just recently purchased a newer vehicle. This is the perfect daily driver or even a great used Taxi/Limo vehicle for someone to use. The condition is listed below in 3 parts. Interior Condition: The interior is in great shape for the year and mileage. The back seats appear virtually unused. The headliner shows minor wear and there is one mark above the drivers head. The dash shows very little wear and tear, better than normal for the year and mileage. All interior instrumentation works perfectly. All interior lights operate normally and all the power windows function perfectly. The interior trim is all intact and in great shape. The interior has had a basic detail and cleaned up nicely. Both center arm rests work perfectly, the lids close tightly and there are no rattles or vibrations. The power drivers and passenger seats are fully operational, including lumbar support. The heated seats work well. The climate control system works great and the AC is ice cold. Exterior Condition: The exterior is in good shape. There are paint chips and rock chips consistent with a vehicle half the age of this Lincoln. There is no rust that we could find. All exterior lights work perfectly, although the front headlamp assemblies are hazy. There are no signs that any major body work has been completed on the Lincoln. The doors, trunk and hood all close easily and soundly. The paint is in good shape, this car was always garaged and detailed twice a year. The windows are crack free, although there are very minor rock chips in the front windshield that are not visible while driving, only when scrutinizing the glass from the exterior. Side view mirrors are intact and work. The wheels, while needing a good cleaning, show very little curb damage. The tires are at about 60% tread life remaining. Mechanical Condition: I took the time to drive this car around and test all functions and options. Everything works perfectly as it should being a mechanics car. The brakes are responsive, the acceleration is quick and steady, the steering is tight. There are no steering noises present when steering fully to the left or right. The exhaust has no rattles and is not loud. All maintenance has been completed on the Lincoln. There are no leaks from the Lincoln and there are no abnormal noises coming from the engine or transmission. The air leveling suspension pump works perfectly, it produces a quiet hum when the Lincoln is first started to raise the suspension. This Lincoln, like most, rides smoothly and effortlessly.
