A SUPER SOLID SOUTHERN SURVIVOR 1964 GALAXIE XL COUPE Listing this one for a friend and I must say it is refreshing to see a car this well maintained. It's a really nice garage kept southern example of '60's performance with style. It had one repaint five years ago and looks to have been a quality job. The FE series 390 cubic inch engine is up to the task of providing more than ample power to move through traffic effortlessly and instills a confidence that increases with every drive you take. Nicely equipped with power steering and power brakes. It even has the sought after optional slide away wheel to complement the driver's ease of entry and exit. Notice the way the period correct American Mag Wheels highlight the coupe's curb appeal. This comfortable bucket seat car is ready for the road and is happy on the interstate. You may feel confident of a pleasureable trip home should you wish to fly in and drive it back. The car is current on maintiance and has a new set of tires. The ignition system is updated with a high energy electronic Mallory distributor. Windows and doors have new rubber seals and weather stripping. There is no broken glass and the interrior is very nice but there are wiper marks on the windshield. My friend drives all his cars frequently and stays on top of any required maintiance.
