Vehicle Detail
This is an original black on red surfer's ride. Picked it up south of the border, California plates and all. Surf stickers in the windows date back to 1966 as far as I have found. Body is incredibly straight, all trim is in excellent shape for it's age, there is rust, as you can see in the pic's. I do have excellent replacement metal from a donor car, just not the welder required to do it. The interior is all there, power rear window, nice headliner. It does run and drive, would need a tire to go anywhere reliably. Has the original hubcaps all in excellent condition, and the rare safari rack makes a great surfboard rack! It would make an excellent movie prop, storefront display, or really cool daily driver you can take all your buddies along with! I don't mind selling international, car was actually sold but deal fell thru over a month ago, just getting around to listing it again I just put another alternator on it, yes it has been upgraded to the GM 1 wire. It drives really nice, transmissioin shifts excellent, even downshifts like it should. It has one tire that keeps going flat about every other day. I can help with delivery locally Great fix it while you drive it, or total restoreOn Aug-29-11 at 08:14:09 PDT, seller added the following information: I have recently added some more pic's, the door panels all look the same, great condition, I will try to add pic's of the back seat which was usually down. Redo the front seat, and the interior is cool! In regards to the passenger side fender inside the car, it's a nice replacement. I also have the complete rear section from a 65 minus the top, which is rust free, even includes a nice green seat! Since you would only need below the trimline, and any panel, the 65 would work fine. Happy bidding!
