1986 ½ Nissan Hardbody 4 X 4 Pickup Truck Up for sale is a 1986 ½ Nissan Hardbody King Cab 4x4 Pickup Truck. This was the first year for the Hardbody. It came out mid year in 1986 and replaced the 720 pickup truck. The truck is powered by a fuel efficient Z24 2.4 litre 4 cylinder engine and has a 5 speed manual transmission. It is also equipped with Power Steering, Power Brakes, Air Conditioning and 4 Wheel Drive. The truck has had only one owner and has only 76,000 miles on it. The truck starts right up first try every time. It runs really well. The engine is smooth and quiet and does not smoke and there are no visible leaks underneath. The transmission shifts smoothly and the gearbox it tight and quiet. It had a new clutch installed and the clutch is strong.The suspension is tight and the truck drives down the road smooth and straight. The 4 X 4 functions properly and has automatic hubs. It works fine in 2WD, 4H and 4L. The transfer case is quiet and it shift between gears smoothly and easily. The tires are almost new. The interior is very clean. The seats are clean with no rips or burns or worn out areas. The carpet is in good shape but it is faded in a few areas. The dash is very clean with only one very small crack that is hardly noticeable. The doors panels are in good shape but the driver’s side has one small tear and the door pull has a tear too. The rear jump seats are in excellent condition and look like they have never been used. All of the lights and electrical work fine. All of the glass is very clean and there are no breaks or damage. The windows roll up and down properly and the locks and ignition work fine too. The body is very straight and has minimal rust in a few small spots. The bed is solid with some minor rust. There are some rust issues on the underside. The truck also needs a new muffler. This truck is a very reliable vehicle that I would not hesitate to drive on a highway trip. It would make a great winter commuter or a good farm truck or a hunting vehicle. Great base for a Hi lift Off Road Truck Project.
