Hello! I am selling my black and silver 2006 BMW K1200S motorcycle that I simply don't have time to ride (I currently have 4). I bought it at a Copart auction in Sacramento with a salvage title (because it was a theft recovery - not wrecked or damaged - it was missing the keys) and thought I'd ride it more and/or use it as a touring bike with my wife, however I just enjoy my supersport bikes too much! :-) I already went through the hassle of getting it titled and registered in California (current registration is good until JAN 2012) and had it completely checked out and serviced at a nearby BMW motorcycle dealership (Calmoto for ~$900 !!) after I took delivery of it. Current mileage is 34,995 and may be a couple hundred more when it sells as I still ride it occasionally and it is for sale locally and may be driven on a test ride. There are absolutely no problems with it and it rides like a dream, turns almost telepathically and really gets up and moves. There is a LOT of power in this bike. When I bought it earlier this year it was essentially bone stock, but I've since added several nice upgrades and cleaned it up for its new owner. I've recently installed new brake pads front and rear and a set of Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires that only have a couple hundred miles on them so far. I'm also including the BMW service manual for this series bike on CD-ROM and a set of frame sliders that I haven't installed just in case the new owner didn't want the holes in the fairings that are needed to accommodate them. Note that some of the photos show the stock red taillight and it will be included with the bike, but I've recently purchased and installed a new WhiteLights Clear LED Taillight from Pirate's Lair. I prefer it over the original "baboon's butt" that BMW designed and I believe the new LED taillight is brighter than the OEM bulb design.
