Vehicle Detail

Up for auction today is this beautiful 1964 Ford Falcon Futura hardtop. This car is in excellent shape from front to rear and has received lots of new parts and upgrades in its recent restoration. The car has an awesome two tone paint job using a very metallic copper and a gun metal matrix base coat-clear coat finish. The body on the car is straight and has been color sanded for the high gloss finish. The interior has been completely replaced. The seats have been recovered, new door panel, door handles and window cranks, new headliner, carpet, step plates. pedals, heater controls, dash knobs, futura emblems, window felts, all weatherstripping including vent windows and roof rail seals. All emblems and badges including lettering on hood and trunk lid are new. All the chrome and stainless is in great shape and has been cleaned and polished. The front and rear bumpers have been replaced. The wheels are American Racing 18x7 and 18x8 polished aluminum Torklites with brand new front tires and 75% rear tires. They ride smooth and look great. The floors and trunk are solid. They have been professionally replaced, coated with Por-15 on top and a rubberized undercoating underneath. The car is originally a 260 car but was replaced with a later model 302 (non-roller). The motor is pretty fresh and nicely dressed with billet aluminum valve covers and air cleaner, 4bbl carb, and an Edelbrock Performer intake. The motor was a low mileage removal from a Mustang and was well maintained, But for piece of mind has been honed, new rings, bearings, oil pump, hydraulic rv camshaft, and double roller timing chain. Radiator, all hoses and water pump were replaced to reassure reliability and performance. The transmission is a C-6, yes i said C-6. It has also been professionally rebuilt. It has a very mild TCI converter, shift kit, and a B&M Starshifter floor shifter gets it through the gears. The rear end is stock 3.25 and has been serviced, the pinion seal has also been replaced. It has new shocks front and rear. No expense was spared in the restoration of this car. Everything works great and car runs and drives great and would make somebody a super nice ride to cruise the shows and the town with. Thank you for looking and good luck! I purchased this car from the original owner who bought this car brand new back in 64 at Warren Wooten Ford just north of here in Cocoa Florida. There is still some of the dealership sticker left on the rear aluminum panel on the rear of the Falcon. Just a neat story to go along with the ride.
