Up for sale is my 1962 Jeep Willy's Cj5. I bought this from my boss and he bought 2 on Ebay and he was the runner up in winning,he got contacted because the winning bidder backed out.He didnt know he DIDNT HAVE to buy it.So He needed to get rid of it asap,I bought it and I am a Jeep Newbie,I have 6 vehicles and I have NO garage to work in and It needs to go to someone who can love it more.From what research I did,it has a 1977 Buick Regal 3.8 liter(231cid) 2 bbl motor.I put new front shocks and new steering stabalizer on it.I put new leaf spring bushings in the fronts but not the backs(have the parts)It has two fuel tanks.The under seat works,but the rear I'm not sure if it would work because it needs a new fuel selector valve in the engine compartment(about a $50 part)I have a full top with doors that has a tiny tear maybe about 1/2" on top and it has normal small wear tears at the corners.I have a bikini top for it too(it looks good,but the snaps aren't lined up,like it shrunk?it stays on good though)The High low and 4wd handles are missing(has the sticks intact though) The tires have A LOT of tread left.The steering column and seat are aftermarket(from ?)The underdash wiring like a lot of old cars is a spider web.The carpet is not intact(not a good fourwheel drive thing anyway!You wanna be able to wash 'er down!)Their is some surface rust on the front fenders and a little on the dash.Led tailights.Has a tow bar and winch with remote(I don't know if the winch works?)The cowl rubber has been painted over and leaks in the rain,but I will include a new rubber cowl and a new windshield gasket also.It has a good spare.(I will probably keep the three stooges cover for my other truck,I might have another one that might fit)I changed ALL the oils except for transfer case because I ran out.I installed a choke cable.MOST of the gauges are in op(like fuel might just be a sending unit? and speedo cable is missing.Replaced BOTH motor mounts.It has a full rollbar.It has a working stereo and speaker box's under the rear seats.The paint has some issues like on the hood from the hood rests and someone spray painted a blue that is a bit off.It is dual exhaust that exits out the side before the axles.The rear seat as you can see is weather worn.Anyway!I am a girl who tried her best and I am a perfectionist with NO garage to work in,so my loss is your summer fun gain!I am selling as is and if you have any questions,please ask!It is located in Tracy,Ca.
