Nice 1973 Chevy K20 4x4. Was purchased from a Fire Station in Alabama and spent most of it's life indoors. Yes, $56k+ original miles. I have put around 2500 miles on it since I purchased it and it has worked perfect. This thing is a work horse. Nearly 100% stock, orginal paint (except for blue stripe applied by fire station). Divorced Transfer case, warn locking hubs, power steering, has no radio or any other features. No AC or cruise control. Gas Chevy 350 engine is bone stock. 4x4 works great, engine works great, does not burn oil after 2500 miles I have diven it, I have not had to add any oil, transfer case shifts good, hubs lock and unlock good, transmission is super strong and shifts very well through all the gears, brakes work great, radiotor has no leaks, there are a few drips out of the transfer case, has an aftermarket radiator overflow bottle. The exhaust is newer, no holes or anything, has a "cherry bomb" style muffler so it sounds really good. This truck has had regular service and all the fluids have been kept up on. I drive it at least once a week to keep up on it. The body has a few dings and light wrinkles here and there, NO RUST of any significance, bed inside is a little rough but no major rust, no holes. The window glass is all good, no cracks, and is all orginal. The interior is original so it looks like a 30+ year old vehicle would look, pretty rough. Issues - The transmission position inidcator on he steering column does not have a pointer so you have to feel your way into drive, newtral, reverse, etc. It actually is no big deal and you get used to it really fast. The heat and defrost work good enough to keep the windshield clear in the winter but the dash fan does not blow. There were small holes patched in the roof from the red flshing fire truck light. The dash is cracked and the interior door panels have some age on them. The tires are older snow tires but have some life left in them. This truck drives great, shifts great, and stops well. Best of all, it has rare low miles and is mostly all original. Ready to go to work. Email for more pics.
