The truck originally sold for 2400, i'm starting this auction for 3days at 1500. I need this sold ASAP..DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT PLAN TO PAY! I have for sale a 1998 Ford Ranger Splash. This is a great truck and it's in excellent mechanical condition! I was currently working on it as a project but I need to sell it to have extra money in my account. There are no leaks and it runs great! AC is ICE COLD, it was replaced about 4 years ago and the transmission was replaced 3yrs ago. The truck also has a thrush exhaust system and a ram air intake. I would have no hesitation to jump in and drive to California and back. The tires on the truck still have a lot of tread left! I bought them in April of this year and I’ve only been driving it twice a week. The tires are generals, so they are good quality! The paint has wear and tear, there are scratches and very small dings and it is also fading slightly on the hood and roof of the truck. Also previous owner removed the OEM pin striping and there are scratches that are left behind because of that, I’m pretty sure that some of them can be buffed out, but there are a few that have gone past the clear. The biggest blemish that the truck has externally is that the paint is coming off inside the passenger door (see picture). The truck has a couple of aftermarket things that have been done it, there is a 1600w amp and 2 10’’ subs that are enclosed in a custom made box to fit the truck. PLEASE NOTE!: the stereo will not be sold with the truck, but I will keep the wiring harness intact so all you have to do is buy a new stereo and hook it up! Also some interior pieces have been painted blue, there is also custom seat covers and a aftermarket shift knob. There are some cosmetic interior “flaws” such as the carpet, but they are all typical wear and tear. There was also a gauge pod on the drivers side that has left some gunk and screw holes where it was previously, you can easily find these parts to replace at a junkyard, or even on Ebay! This is a great truck, there are some issues, but for the most part it’s in excellent condition.
