Vehicle Detail
1953 ford victoria with 77000 origional miles. This car belongs to my step father. It was his project. Last sunday night he brought the car home from storage and parked it in the garage. He had no idea the gas tank has a leak and the rest is history. The car went up in flames around 4 am while sleeping. fire men came and put out the fire, leaving the house a total loss. When the fire men were done, a few had stayed to make sure there were no hot spots. They told my dad they needed to push the car out of the garage. He protested and told them to hold on. He got in the drivers seat and fired up the old girl and backed it out. The tail lights even worked. This car has the origional flathead v8 and it runs great. He has a new interior for the car as well. It is all white, everything from the head liner to carpet. This alone was over 800 dollars. This was not damaged by the fire and is in mint condition. The car might be rebuildable if someone had the time and desire. They had no ins on the home as their landlord had not paid it and no renters ins as well. I am listing this car for them to pull in some cash to help get them back on their feet. My mother wants it gone, cant stand to look at it. It runs like a top. If it dosent sell he is going to pull the drive train and junk the rest. Still a lot of good parts on the car. I hate to see them go to waste
