1956 CHEVROLET BEL AIR 2 DOOR SEDAN GREAT BARN FIND!!! HAS A LOT OF POTENTIAL!!! HAS OPEN And Clear FLORIDA TITLE The engine is the original 265 cubic inch. 3 speed manual transmission on the column. Older elderbrock aluminum intake with a newer carb. New fuel pump and fuel filter. Fuel tank was cleaned out. Original brakes. stops but does pull. To the right, to the right. Clutch feels good. Original rear end. Odometer shows 60.700, and appears to be original. Has dual exhaust with chrome tips and glass packs in good condition. Also has traction bars that someone installed at one time or another. Runs extremely well, no smoke, no significant leaks, damp around rear main. Rear tires are at 90%, fronts are 80$ not matched. Chevy rally wheels. Look to be in very good condition. All the sheet metal is original, only replacement needed is 3 floor braces, and the rear tail pan. Does have a bullet hole in drivers fender . Floor pans are solid and original as are the rockers. Slight bubbling here and there, but no physical holes in body. Seats and door panels are brand new. Older Lacquer paint job appears to have only one repaint since new. Lights all work, horn does not. Rear lenses are original, front markers have been replaced. DASH IS COMPLETE & UNCUT, HAS ORIGINAL RADIO DELETE PLATE Original charging system. Does operate. Battery does hold a charge, starts right up. Bel Air trim package. All trim is present and in driver quality usable condition. Trunk chrome appears to be replaced. Bumpers are fairly straight and solid, and can be cleaned tweaked and rechromed. INTAKE AND CARB, HAVE BEEN ALTERED FROM ORIGINAL BUT IS PRETTY MUCH "ALL" ORIGINAL!!! GLASS IS ALL GOOD, In fact, the glass is all original with the exception of the right door glass. YES< the windshield is ORIGINAL!! TIRES LOOK GOOD (AGE UNKNOWN) The rears are at 90%, and the fronts are at 80% not matching. HOLD AIR NO CRACKS!! 100% complete except for carpet and outer bumper brackets.
