1960 Chevrolet IMPALA What we have here is a survivor. this is a 1960 chevy impala. this car was a one owner untill it traded hands 2 years ago. this car is awsome to restore. I am listing the car as is where is and as honest as possible. please ask any and all questions prior to placing a bid on this car. if you bid you own... its only fair. for you, myself and the other biders. it has mostly all of the original parts including the generator, carb etc. everything on the car works excpt the original radio. if you want a car to resore or drive this is the car. the body is super solid. it appears the floor pans had been repaired or patched at some point in its lifetime years ago but i no nothing of the repairs except they are very solid and in working order. also noticed some frame rust under neath the back bumper of the car where the bumper attatches but it dosent seem to effect the bumper of the car or the look and could easily be repaired by welding or bolting patches back on it. (plates) this is minor compared to the quality and condition of the car and body, it is amazing its almost like a time capsule. and in great shape. all glass is crystal clear with no milk, cracks or dings, all windos roll up and down and in working order winshild and back glass are perfect and rubbers on both are still soft and pliable. there is some paint flaking on the body but it still looks nice going down the road or upclose, most people cat believe the condition. the headliner is PERFECT and original. it had seat covers put on it in 1965 to protect the seats and there still on the car and i have not removed them. but seats sets well and even has original floor mats, and OWNERS MANUAL I THE GLOVE BOX! the light in the glove box even works. it has all original wheel covers and brand NEW white wall tires with less than 200 miles on them. it has a new distributer, plugs wires, and battery and the motor RUNS strong and great. its an inline six cyl motor i have the original breather for th car in the trunk. it needs a nut replaced to mount it. I have been driving this car back and forth to work atleast every other day and its a 40 mile round trip. and it runs fine and smooth, all gears change easy. and its 3 speed on the tree. I have researched the car to the best of my ability and did notice the title sais 2 door but it is in fact a 4 door car the owners family stated it was an error at the dmv years back.
