1966 Corvair Convertible Hello, I am selling a 1966 Chevy Corvair. This is a very cool project car. Can you imagine yourself crusin around next summer with the top down with your wife or girlfriend. This was my intenion, however I simply have too many projects going on and getting rid of some stuff (just look at all the stuff I have laying around in the pics). The corvair has been recently painted, however it will need to be buffed and touched up. This is by no means a show car. This is a nice daily cruiser. There is no engine in it currently. The motor that was in it spun a rod bearing and is dissasembled. The motor had 2 rebuild and tuned carburatores on it before the motor spun the bearing. I have all the pieces, you will need to rebuild it or put another motor in. Go crazy and put a blown big block in it. Overal the car is pretty solid. There is no rust in the door jams or around the wheels wells. The interior is in great shape. There is a tear on the driver seat.There is also a small tear on the top cover (repairable). The top will need to be replaced, however the frame for it is in great shape. The lights, wipers, horn, radio etc all work. The trans works great. This was a running driving car until the motor spun the bearing. Please take your time in viewing all of the photos I have provided. The vin number of the car is 10567w111185 and the car has 57582 on the odometer. The trunk and engine compartments are solid. There is some minor rust holes around rear shock towers (you can see in pictures) and same for front towers, however everything has been cleaned and painted with POR. The car had a "fast" restoration once. The floorboards are solid, however have been patched with tin work and painted with POR as well. This is a perfect everyday car.
