Vehicle Detail
This beautiful Honda Rune is painted in Dupont Chameleon paint 'True Blasberry". Colors from gold and dark green to turquoise, blue and violet appear depending on viewing angle and light, it is truly stunning. The back fender is shaved with custom LED directional signals and side mount license plate. A collectors bike. Built in America for only two model years. It is estimated Honda spent $100000 on each motorcycle produced following the extensive design and manufacture of their limited stock production in 2004 and 2005. They retailed for about $26,000. These motorcycles are almost always found with low mileage and near mint conditions when available. This one has a small damaged area on the side of the seat where a backpack I was wearing wore an abrasion. You can have the original seat in perfect condition also if you are the winning bidder. There is a scratch on the rear fender (see pic) where I rubbed it with another motorcycle I was rolling around in the garage. The tires have been replaced once and they have over half the rubber left. Honda Runes are one of a few motorcycles that retain their value and appear to be increasing in price. THE ULTIMATE CRUSIER! I believe I am the 3rd owner, the previous two owners purchased the motorcycle from Elmhurst Honda, when it was new and again as used to the 2nd owner. It comes with the original owners manual of course, and a service manual. I am including a jack adapter made for the Rune that attaches to a standard motorcycle lift. Good luck bidding and I hope one of you will be the new owner of a very special motorcycle. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you would like more info.On Aug-20-11 at 13:22:28 PDT, seller added the following information: This beautiful Honda Rune is painted in Dupont Chameleon paint 'True Blasberry". I have added pictures that show the defects. The unclear photo depicts a small scratch on the side of the rear fender, I overlooked this before and I am sorry the picture isn't better, it is about 3/4 of an inch long, very thin but through to white primer I presume. I may try to post a better pic if I can get one.
