Vehicle Detail

1988 Chevrolet Iroc-Z Camaro Convertible You are bidding on a beautiful example of a well maintained and cared for car. At only 52,829 k miles you will not find one nicer. This car is loaded from the factory with all the goodies available back in 1988. The rpo sheet revels the following options: G80 Rear Axle, Limited Slip, G92 Rear Axle, Performance Ratio 3:42, J65 Brakes, Power F&R Disc, KC4 Cooler, Engine Oil, LB9 Engine, 305ci, 220hp, V8, and MM5 Manual 5-Speed transmission. Very rare option list for a convertible, already is a collectors item. I had the car completely gone through just before the start of summer to ensure reliability since it is a 23 year old car now. No expense was spared, here is a list of new parts installed: Gm ClutchFuel InjectorsThrottle position sensorIAC ValveMAF burnoff relayWater pumpIntake manifold gaskets02 Sensor DistributorDistributor capDistributor rotorIgnition moduleAc Delco Spark plugsAc Delco Spark plug wiresRebuilt rear brake calipersIdler armThe car has been lowered 1 3/4" front and 1 1/2 rear with Intrax coil springs (factory springs will be included in sale). I also had Koni "red" adjustible struts and shocks to improve how the car handles. The car really turns heads with it's new looking stance! The factory radio is no longer in the car, it was replaced with a panisonic cd player that hasn't worked since day one. All the power features on the car work great. A/C blows somewhat cold, definitly not ICE cold but it's still working. Since it is 23 years old there is going to be spots of usual ware just from use. These include small rock chips on the front bumper cover, a couple cracks inside (shown in video) and the clear coat on wheels is coming off. It's all just little things that happen under normal use that keep it from being a perfect 10. It is a very nice car and already being sought after by collectors. As with any car this age there will be some ware. I've done my best to disclose all known issues through pictures and videos, if there are any questions please feel free to e-mail me before the auction has ended. I will assist in any way possible with shipping should you happen to live out of state or country. If you would like to fly in and drive home, I will meet you at the nearest international airport (SEATAC). I'll do everything possible to make this transaction easy on you. I do require a non refundable $500.00 deposit within 24 hours of auctions end. The balance must be paid in full before the car is released to the buyer. Clear title is in hand ready for you.
