Vehicle Detail

I'm offering this 1950 Studebaker Champion Starlight Coupe for auction with NO RESERVE!!! The high bidder will win the car for whatever the high bid ends up being. This is a true barn find, this car has been in the Atlanta area since new. I purchased it from the original owner's son in law with the intention of doing a full restoration. In the interest of preserving the car as it is, I painted the exterior of the car to prevent rust. What you're looking at here is a VERY original and very restorable car. It still retains the oil bath air cleaner, original radiator, carburetor, flat head 6 cylinder and manual transmission. The windshield is in good condition, but the rear glass is in EXCELLENT condition. The window trim is in very good shape. The seat springs and structure are in good enough condition to be used for reupholstering the seats. The passenger door in solid with the exception of the middle of the bottom of the sill. The driver side door and sill are very solid. The floors will need to be replaced, the trunk pan and spare tire well also need to be replaced. The trunk jam lip is solid as is the deck lid. Both front fenders are in great shape and the hood is very solid. The right side quarter panel has rust along the bottom edge but it's very fixable. The left quarter panel is solid with no rust. The frame of this car is very solid. If you're looking for a solid project car that you won't see at every car show, this is the one for you! This would be an easy rat rod project or would be a great candidate for as full frame off restoration. Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Good luck!!! Any applicable taxes or shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Please ask any questions before you place a bid on the car. Be sure that you have your finances in order before you place a bid. You are welcome to come inspect the vehicle or have an independent agent come and inspect the car for you before the auction ends. Please contact me either through eBay or by calling me at 770-616-3222 if you want more details on the car. The more I look at and write about the car the more I hate to sell it. Nonetheless, it is listed locally so I reserve the right to sell the car before the auction ends should someone make an offer that I cannot refuse. Good luck to you, someone is going to get a once in a lifetime find!!! BIDDING- Please only bid what you are prepared to pay for this vehicle. Anyone wishing to inspect the car or have the car inspected is welcome to do so but inspections must be completed prior to bidding & prior to auction's end. If you have little or no feedback please do not bid without first sending me your contact info through the ASK SELLER A QUESTION link in this listing so that we can speak on the phone prior to you placing your bid. I have encountered a couple of crooks/ scammers which have cost me both time & money. This will no longer be tolerated so if you are not a SERIOUS buyer, PLEASE MOVE ON. All members with a genuine interest in this vehicle are more than welcome to ask questions. All will be answered promptly. SHIPPING- Shipping costs & arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. However, I have assisted buyers & their shippers in the pickup of several vehicles over the years. I can recommend several shippers who have performed well for buyers in the past but you will have to make your own arrangements with them. I will work with you & your shipper so that they can get this car to you as fast & cost effectively as possible. However, no matter where you live, the point of sale will be here in GEORGIA as that is where I live & where the vehicle is located.
